The rain falls ,
an earthen odour fills the heart
each sense plugged into the nature
an ecstacy, a holy frenzy, a heavenly bliss prevails
A wounded sage, smiles through the cracks on his lips
his broken body livens up with each drop of the rain
he dances to an inner tune,
in peace, he moves with the grace of an angel,
it is then when lightning strikes,
and the mortal act of joy of the mad mad sage is immortalised,
by an act Divine.
Out of a burning desire to be one with You,
I rise to majesty,
and at my best,
I set my wings ablaze
to shed my mortal shackles,
My burning carcas;
like a flame thrown across the sky
falls back towards the earth,
Turned to ash;
Scattered, freed, elevated,
and no sooner dead, that I am born again
Out of the very ashes
of my mortal self.
More majestic, more in Love.
Though i remain oblivious,
Your entire creation is awed
at the spectacle of this magnificent proclamation,
of my love for You.
kaho tau reza reza ho jaoun
kaho tau ban ke raakh mein
magar jau rooth chalo,
aur woh be aisay tau,
kaho ke shamma ko chal chor,
mein kidar jaoun?
o withered soul of lonesome child,
knowst thee not hope,
nor love divine,
but wail you doth, how often beguiled,
not sorrow, nor circumstance,
you are but a victim of deciet,
a heart as that doth not produce,
the love that maketh angels fly
and humans soar where Gabriel cant.
